Emergency Energy (EE) is seeking for communications and Marketing expert with relevant skills to develop and implement the organisations social media and communications strategy, increase online engagement and promote our cause across different social media platforms.

The following are the roles and responsibilities

- In consultation with EE’s team, develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with EE's purpose, goals, and target audience.

- Manage and regularly update EE's social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) with relevant and engaging content.

- Create compelling visual and written contents, including posts, graphics, videos, and articles, to communicate our charitable work, impact, news and upcoming events or campaigns.

- Monitor and respond to social media engagement, comments, and messages, fostering meaningful conversations and building relationships with EE’s online community.

- Regularly analyse social media data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of the charity campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with the EE partners to gather content and stories from beneficiaries and partners, ensuring their experiences are shared effectively and ethically.

- Schedule and coordinate social media campaigns and special events, ensuring that they are widely shared, successfully implemented and promotion.

- Support the development and execution of communication materials, such as newsletters, press releases, and impact reports.

- Conduct research and stay up to date with social media trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas and strategies to enhance EE's online presence.

- Where possible and ethical, identify and engage with relevant influencers, partners, and organizations to expand reach and collaborate on joint initiatives.

- Collaborate with the website developer to integrate social media platforms with the organization's website for seamless user experience.

- Ensure all social media content is consistent with EE's communications policy and guidelines.
