Description:
As the Marketing and Promotion Manager for STEM Canada, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our advanced STEM-based educational curriculum. This position requires a creative and analytical mind to effectively communicate our mission of delivering top-notch STEM literacy and application to students from preschool to high school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for STEM education and the ability to create compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with students, parents, educators, and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote STEM Canada's programs and initiatives.
- Create and manage content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and print materials.
- Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and Video Editor to produce visually appealing and engaging marketing assets.
- Analyze marketing metrics and adjust strategies to optimize reach and engagement.
- Manage relationships with media outlets and coordinate press releases and public relations efforts.
- Organize and oversee promotional events, both virtual and in-person, to showcase STEM Canada's offerings.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, industry leaders, and community organizations to expand STEM Canada's reach.
- Create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Stay updated on STEM education trends and incorporate them into marketing initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals and volunteers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in education or non-profit sector
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Passion for STEM education and its importance in today's world
- Knowledge of the Canadian education system and STEM landscape (preferred)
