Job Description:

As a Volunteer Content Moderator for STEM Canada, you will

ensure the quality and integrity of our online content across various platforms.

Your role is crucial in maintaining a safe, informative, and engaging digital

environment that reflects our mission to promote STEM literacy. The ideal

candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills,

and a passion for upholding community standards.

Position: Content Moderator

Location: Remote

Time Commitment: Flexible Hours

Key Responsibilities:

Review, moderate, and manage user-generated content on social media,

forums, and other platforms.

Ensure adherence to community guidelines and policies, addressing

inappropriate content promptly.

Collaborate with the content team to develop best practices for content

moderation.

Provide feedback on content trends, user interactions, and community

engagement.

Support the creation of engaging and educational content that aligns with

STEM Canada’s mission.

Requirements:

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a positive

online community.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Familiarity with content moderation tools and social media platforms.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

A passion for STEM education and community building.
