Position: Marketing and Promotion Manager Location: Remote Time commitment: Flexible Hours Description: As the Marketing and Promotion Manager for STEM Canada, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our advanced STEM-based educational curriculum. This position requires a creative and analytical mind to effectively communicate our mission of delivering top-notch STEM literacy and application to students from preschool to high school. The ideal candidate will have a passion for STEM education and the ability to create compelling marketing campaigns that resonate with students, parents, educators, and industry partners. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote STEM Canada's programs and initiatives. Create and manage content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and print materials. Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and Video Editor to produce visually appealing and engaging marketing assets. Analyze marketing metrics and adjust strategies to optimize reach and engagement. Manage relationships with media outlets and coordinate press releases and public relations efforts. Organize and oversee promotional events, both virtual and in-person, to showcase STEM Canada's offerings. Develop and maintain partnerships with educational institutions, industry leaders, and community organizations to expand STEM Canada's reach. Create and manage the marketing budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources. Stay updated on STEM education trends and incorporate them into marketing initiatives. Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals and volunteers. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field 3+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the education or non-profit sector Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment Passion for STEM education and its importance in today's world Knowledge of the Canadian education system and STEM landscape (preferred) Benefits: Enjoy flexible working hours with a minimum commitment of 6 hours per week.
