SeaTac Winter Market Volunteering
ORGANIZATION: AFRICAN COMMUNITY HOUSING & DEVELOPMENT
Please visit the new page to apply.
Come volunteer at our first ever SeaTac Winter Market at The Roadhouse! We have a variety of activities available for all ages, interests, and mobility levels. These can include:
- assisting our vendors with booth set up and tear down
- packing our free, local produce bags for food insecure families
- welcoming customers and showing folks around the market
- tear down and clean up after market ends
- building community, eating delicious food, and celebrating the season :)
- and much more!
The SeaTac Farmers Market pilot program has been a tremendous success this season, thanks to the dedication and hard work of all our incredible vendors and volunteers. To keep the momentum going, we are planning a set of two winter markets- and we need lots of help! The winter markets will follow our farmers market model, with an emphasis on community support. We will distribute free produce bags, basic needs, and free massage, acupuncture, and youth haircuts.
