Hello! With one hour a week you could change a life... We need YOU!

Agape Hospice Care (Woodstock) is looking for volunteers to help out by visiting a patient 1 time per week for 1 hour visits or we need office help if admin work is your thing. Students - are you looking for an internship or volunteer hours as part of your college degree - we can also help.

How do I get started?

1. Fill out an application..
2. Sign a sheet to consent to a background check. (we pay for that..)
3. Get a TB test - (we do them for free at our office. M-F 10-4...)
4. Take the training courses from Relias..
5. Meet for an orientation..
6. Meet your patient or come to the office to help...

This opprotunity is wonderful for college students, retired men or women, veterans, anyone with a big heart looking to give back. No medical background needed. We train.

With patient volunteering opportunities; No hands on care, you would just sit with a patient and talk, read, play music.

With administrative and support volunteering opportunites; work with our group of interdiscplinary professionals in the backworkings of the Hospice Office to help support the care being delivered to patients.. Hospice is an individualized service that is tailored to patient needs. Work as part of the team\ alongside IDG professionals or on your own through a variety of light office activities ; creating birthday cards \ mailings, working with the IDG team, helping support the day to day functions of a Hospice office in a fun and welcoming office environment.
