International Program Coordinator

We are looking for a part-time, entry-level volunteer/internship International Program Coordinator to assist with the coordination of Volunteer Liberia internationally. You will have to promote cutting-edge humanitarian and educational programs among global media and to develop innovative strategy to manage and improve global awareness at Volunteer Liberia. The position is available immediately. This is an unpaid Remote Volunteer/internship position. This position requires a compassionate, globally minded, hard-working individual with strong communications and leadership skills.

Job Responsibilities:

Communicate with Country Coordinator in Liberia

Communicate with volunteers, assist in international experience preparation

Assist in strategy development

Promote the programs to potential volunteers

Work together with the Marketing Team to raise awareness of Volunteer Liberia

Assist in updating website information regarding related projects

Develop partnerships with groups from high schools, universities, companies,

associations, and communities throughout the United States or Europe to volunteers/interns

internationally with Volunteer Liberia volunteer abroad student exchange program according to measurable targets.

Attend recruitment fair and conferences to promote Volunteer Liberia programs.

Give presentations to groups about Volunteer Liberia’s programs.

Work with the teams at Volunteer Liberia to strategize around outreach and

education, and to put new ideas into action.

Work with the online Marketing Coordinator and Communication Coordinator and professional associations to publicize opportunities for volunteers/interns or student exchange programs

Develop and maintain relationships with other volunteer organizations around the world.

Coordinate all volunteer staff of Volunteer Liberia abroad in order to have a synergistic effect in program implementation.

Conduct and organize Online meetings with all Volunteer Liberia staff every month.

Qualifications:

 Fluent English skills

 Strong written & verbal skills

 Creative, innovative, & efficient

 MS office knowledge

 International or travel experience required
