- Do you believe that each individual matters and has something to contribute?
- Should we be educating the whole child?
- Do SEL programs belong in schools?
- Could SEL programs for tweens & teens be better designed so that they really resonate with this age group?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, we're looking for you, and we need your help!
We're an SEL program designer that has focused mainly on anti-bullying programs that help build resilience: empowering individuals with tools and strategies to help them (safely and kindly!) take action when they witness or experience bullying behavior. We strive to help each individual discover the power they have, even in situations where someone might be trying to make them feel powerless.
In the past couple of years, we've expanded our focus to incorporate additional elements of SEL, such as:- Self-esteem
- Self-advocacy
- Self-efficacy
- Being true to yourself and not letting others pressure you into changing to "fit in"
- Knowing that you are exactly who you're meant to be
- Valuing and accepting each individual and the contributions they bring
- Understanding what it might be like to be neurodiverse
We're seeking educator input to help us:
- Enhance our exisiting programs to bring in more student audience interaction/engagement
- Design new programs to empower each individual to persevere through challenges so they remain true to themselves, can rise to their full potential, live their best life, and make their mark on the world.
- Anything else you think we should be doing to support today's youth!
