Allelon Hospice is seeking veteran volunteers to honor and support our veteran hospice patients. As a veteran volunteer, you can provide the practical and emotional support to our patients and their families when they need it the most.
Where:
Visits can take place in Patient's homes, as well as nursing homes, assisted living, memory care units, group homes and hospitals.
How:
Volunteers will be provided with ongoing one-on-one staff support throughout their service with us, and will receive training on how to service Veterans and their families.
Our volunteers must complete an application, interview, background checks, hospice orientation, drug and TB test.
