The Clothing Closet at Cristo Rey Community Center gives our clients access to free, new and gently used apparel. We offer all forms of seasonally appropriate garments for men, women, and children of all ages, as well as a small selection of off-season clothing. The Clothing Closet is completely volunteer-based and we count on our volunteers to help us keep it running 9 am-1 pm, Monday through Friday.
Tasks include sorting and hanging clothes, helping clients find the type of garments they need, and ensuring that all donations are recorded accurately. An ideal candidate for this volunteer position enjoys working directly with clients, sorting and hanging clothes, and is able to perform light physical labor.
