Recruiting Organization: Project Angel Food

Project Angel Food provides free, medically tailored meals to Angelenos homebound with critical illnesses. We are urgently looking for volunteers to prepare over 3000 meals/day in our temporary Lincoln Heights location. Assist our professional chefs where you will be chopping, mixing, scooping, and packaging. No culinary skills are required, just a willingness to learn and help.

Mornings - 8:15am-12:pm, Sunday thru Friday.

Afternoons - 1pm-4pm, Sunday thru Friday.

• Minimum age for volunteers in the kitchen is 14 years old. Anyone 14 or 15 years old must be always accompanied by an adult.
• All volunteers must be scheduled. No walk-ins.
• An orientation will be held at the start of each volunteer’s first kitchen shift (8a or 1p). This is mandatory.
