As Chief of Staff, you will be instrumental in supporting the CEO, optimizing internal operations, and ensuring the organization’s health-from staffing and morale to strategic planning and execution. What You’ll Do:
- Executive Support: Manage the CEO’s calendar, prioritize engagements, and schedule meetings to ensure alignment with organizational goals, allowing the CEO to focus on high-impact decision-making.
- Team Coordination: Oversee team schedules, resources, and project allocations, ensuring departments work efficiently and effectively towards shared objectives.
- Strategic Planning: Play an integral role in the development and implementation of organizational strategies that drive the impact of our mission, guiding cross-functional teams toward successful execution.
- Organizational Health: Monitor and enhance team morale, staffing levels, and internal processes to create and sustain a positive work environment that supports organizational growth and well-being.
- Communication: Act as a bridge between the CEO, staff, and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of goals across all levels.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data to inform strategic decision-making, manage budgets, and oversee performance improvement initiatives that align with organizational objectives.
- Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information with the highest level of discretion, ensuring confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
What We’re Looking For:
- Leadership Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role, preferably with a background in project management, team oversight, or operations.
- Track Record of Success: Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives that improve operational efficiency and organizational performance.
- Nonprofit Leadership: Demonstrated experience in nonprofit management or a similar leadership position where mission-driven work is at the core of the organization.
- Operational Expertise: Strong knowledge of project management and operational best practices that enhance organizational effectiveness and productivity.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Superior leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams at all levels.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think and act strategically while managing multiple priorities and balancing the needs of the organization.

Mission Statement
We strive to make fine art readily available to anyone who wishes to experience it, even when unable to do so financially. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) produces annual benefit concerts, shows, and performances. These experiences are open for all community members. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) exercises: artistic, comedic, and musical channels to bring soothing to children hospitals, hospices, shelters for the homeless, nursing homes, and various other entities full of people in need of assuagement. The Donovan's Venom, INC. 501(c)(3) has partnered with The Donovan's Piano Room to host weekly online lessons to students who wish to learn music, music theory, sight-reading, and musical techniques, even when they can't afford to do so.
