Position: Reproductive Data and Reporting Officer
Organization: Austin National Organization for Women (NOW)
Commitment: Part-Time Volunteer (5-7 hours per month)
Reports To: Committee Lead - Reproductive Rights and Justice

About Austin NOW:

Austin NOW is dedicated to advancing gender equality and social justice for all. We advocate for reproductive rights, economic justice, racial equity, LGBTQIA+ rights, ending violence against women, and constitutional equality.

Role Overview:

The Reproductive Data and Reporting Officer plays a critical role in supporting the Reproductive Rights and Justice Committee. You will maintain accurate records of ongoing projects, track progress on key initiatives, and prepare monthly reports to update the Committee Lead and the broader board.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all committee activities, including events, outreach efforts, and advocacy initiatives.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitor the progress of ongoing projects and initiatives, ensuring that deadlines are met and milestones are achieved.
  • Monthly Reporting: Compile data and prepare comprehensive reports for the Committee Lead, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and successes.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in analyzing collected data to identify trends and provide actionable insights for the committee's strategic planning.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Committee Lead and other team members to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Experience with data collection and reporting (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for reproductive rights and social justice.
