For 36 years, we have dedicated ourselves to brightening the holiday season for families in south metro Atlanta. Our mission is to promote love, unity, pride, and respect within our community, serving thousands of underprivileged children annually.
Originally hosted at Henderson’s Event Center, guests experienced an exciting carnival with giant inflatables, climbing walls, arts & crafts, face painting and continuous entertainment. Since the pandemic, we are thrilled to announce our return to an in-person celebration and our new partnership with the City of College Park.

Description
Helping Hands Holiday Dinner, a 501 (c)3 organization founded by Drs. Louis and Lori Okun. We are proud to say this event has always been organized and staffed exclusively by volunteers. Originally hosted at Henderson’s Event Center, guests experienced an exciting carnival with giant inflatables, climbing walls, arts & crafts, face painting and continuous entertainment.
Our new venue is the beautiful and expansive Georgia International Convention Center, located at 2000 Convention Center Concourse, College Park, Georgia. This new location will allow us to grow and serve more than 5000 children as we have in the past.
