Patient in Mocksville NC needs commitement for 1-3 days per week for feeding a meal between 3:30 and 4:30 pm. Can stay longer if wish to visit more. Patient enjoys eating but is unable to feed hold utensil to feed self. Caregiver will bring the food to you and you just say you have a bite ready and patient will open mouth, chew and swallow with no problem. Patient likes being read to and listening to music as well. She can speak some and does appear to know what is being said around her. She can answer yes/no questions and also say she remembers something if she remembers it. If interested, more information can be given once volunteering due to HIPPA.
