Carmel’s Depression & Anxiety Wellness Foundation is dedicated to providing resources, guidance, and community support for individuals dealing with depression and anxiety. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment for mental health awareness and advocacy. As our organization grows, we are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to help us manage important behind-the-scenes tasks that allow us to run smoothly and focus on making an impact.

Role Description:
As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our team. This volunteer position involves organizing and maintaining files, scheduling meetings, sending correspondence, and ensuring our administrative processes are up-to-date. This is a great opportunity for someone with excellent organizational skills who wants to make a difference in the mental health field.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and organize digital files, ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, including sending reminders and setting up virtual meeting links
  • Send correspondence on behalf of the Foundation, such as emails and follow-up messages
  • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed to support the team

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency with digital tools like Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A passion for mental health advocacy is a plus!
