The Center for Sustainable Journeys in Engineering and Innovation is seeking dedicated Project Managers (PMs) to lead and develop various sustainability-focused projects. These initiatives range from solar-powered solutions and community workshops to sustainable infrastructure and mentorship programs.

Location Requirement: Remote role with potential in-person activities for local projects. Due to current background screening and security protocols, we can only accept volunteer applicants from North America, South America, and the European Union. Please also note due to the potential in-person activities for local projects candidates from the United States will take preference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project planning, execution, and successful delivery.

  • Coordinate with community outreach and grant coordinator volunteers.

  • Develop timelines, manage resources, and allocate tasks effectively.

  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and report progress.

  • Ensure projects align with the organization’s sustainability goals.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally with sustainability or community-based projects.

  • PMP certification is highly beneficial.

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving and time-management abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Effective communication skills for engaging with volunteers and community members.

Time Commitment:

5-10 hours per week, with a flexible schedule based on project timelines.
