Culterate is a literary magazine which accepts submissions in the form of poetry, prose, and article from emerging and established authors.

Poetry is one of the most frequently submitted types of work in our issues, and we always strive to give the best messages to all authors who submit to us. As a poetry editor, you will not only be polishing the accepted pieces but also collaborating with the rest of the editorial team to select which works to accept and to contact the authors. You'll have the opportunity to work with incredible authors from around the world, enhancing both your skills as an editor and a writer.

Previous experience is not required, but we do prioritize applicants aged 15-25, in maintaining our 'youth-led' vision.

Mission Statement

Culterate is an international student-led online magazine committed to publishing emerging and established poets and authors. Our main focus is discussing history, society, and arts through poetry, prose, and other literary works.

Description

Founded in 2024, we released our debut issue in October, publishing 20 authors from 11 countries across America, Europe, and Asia. Right now, we're open for submissions for our second issue. We continue to seek unique and diverse voices through our submissions and aim to give a platform to as many deserving authors as we can, connecting authors across borders through arts.
