SPOTLIGHT VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

• Duty Officer (Virtual): Coordinate responses to local emergencies.
• Disaster Action Team (In-Person): Provide immediate assistance to those affected by disasters.

ADDITIONAL VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE

• Disaster Cycle Services:
  • Community Disaster Preparedness Presenter (In-Person): Deliver preparedness presentations to the community.
  • Shelter Worker (In-Person): Help manage shelters during disasters.
  • Disaster Health Services (License Required): Provide assistance and healthcare to clients during a disaster.
  • Disaster Mental Health (License Required): Provide assistance and mental-health care to clients during a disaster.
  • Disaster Spiritual Care (License Required): Provide assistance and spiritual care to clients during a disaster.
• Service to Armed Forces:
  • Family Follow-Up Caseworker (Virtual): Provide family follow-up services for military families during times of need.
• Volunteer Services:
  • Community Outreach Volunteer (In-Person): be the face of the Red Cross and represent during outreach events (i.e. student fairs, health fairs, etc.).
• Operations:
  • Facilities Volunteer (In-Person):Support Operations with tasks such as breaking down boxes, lifting materials, check for possible leaks, painting walls and additional office maintenance. *Only in Tulsa, OKC and Stillwater.
