About Us:

Great Achievers Social Development Initiative (GASDI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting social development and community engagement. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Social Media Manager to join our team as a volunteer.

Job Description:

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to promote GASDI's mission, programs, and events. Your primary goal will be to increase our online presence, engage with our audience, and drive traffic to our website.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube)

- Create and curate high-quality, engaging content (text, images, videos) to post on social media platforms

- Manage and schedule posts using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)

- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews on social media platforms

- Analyze and report on social media metrics (engagement, reach, clicks) to inform future content and strategy

- Collaborate with GASDI's team to ensure social media content aligns with organizational goals and messaging

- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices

Qualifications:

- 2+ years of experience in social media marketing or a related field

- Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their respective audiences

- Excellent content creation and writing skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Experience with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)

- Familiarity with graphic design and video editing software (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to commit to 5-10 hours per week as a volunteer
