Family Support Volunteers provide direct assistance to families in our community, offering mentorship, guidance, and practical support to help families thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support to families
- Follow up on new referrals
- Attend and assist at family events
- Facilitate or co-facilitate small group sessions
- Mentor parents
- Document interactions
- Participate in training sessions
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working with families (personal or professional)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate boundaries
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass background check
- Completion of volunteer training program (provided)
