ORGANIZATION: MILLION LITTLE

Million Little provides art-based programming to youth experiencing trauma and adversity, and we need your help behind the scenes! Individuals and friend groups are invited to give back to our community while earning service hours in our Valencia office each Wednesday.

While you're here, you may:

  • Cut out, laminate, photocopy, and otherwise prep materials for art projects
  • Create art samples for new projects
  • Clean art supplies such as paint brushes, stencils, etc
  • Produce youth t-shirt designs using Cricut and heat press
  • Empty trash, break down boxes for recycling
  • Organize shelves in supply rooms
  • Clean kitchen area and vacuuming floors
  • Manage occasional loads of laundry at local laundromat *for those who drive

We can train interested volunteers of Cricut and the heat press- no experience necessary! If you're looking for a way to spend your day off or earn some service hours after school, we hope you consider joining the ML team.

Million Little is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that empowers and supports the healing process of children and their families who have experienced trauma through the power of creativity. Incarcerated teens, foster youth, those in poverty and those suffering from violence/adversity are all part of the population that Million Little serves.

Description

Million Little delivers therapeutic arts programming, youth resources, educational workshops and trainings as a means to support the healthy social and emotional development and healing process of at-risk children and families in Los Angeles County and beyond.
