Volunteer Snow Shoveling Program for Elders

Able-bodied volunteers are need in all Portland neighborhoods to assist older homeowners with snow removal. Volunteers are asked shovel steps, walkways, sidewalks for neighbors aged 65+. This program is part of Portland's Age-Friendly Community initiative. FMI or to sign up as a volunteer, please email agefriendlycommunity@portlandmaine.gov or call 207-541-6620.
