ORGANIZATION: National Park Service

The Belle Fourche Campground, located inside of Devils Tower National Monument, is a first come first serve campground with 45 sites. Camp host duties at Devils Tower National Monument include helping visitors register for campsites, informing campers of the campground and park rules, and picking up trash at the campground and picnic area. Camp hosts will assist with traffic control and parking during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.

Hosts are needed them from mid-May through Mid-October. Preference will be given to hosts who can volunteer for the entire season. Hosts will be required to work a minimum of 32 hours per week. Hosts usually work 4 days per week for approximately 8 hours per day. This will vary depending upon how many sets of hosts the park has that summer.

Hosts are required to wear uniforms when on duty. Uniform shirts and hats will be provided. Hosts must provide their own dark brown pants and their own boots or sneakers.

Hosts will be provided one shaded trailer site that can accommodate up to a 40-foot RV. Sites have full electrical, water, and sewer. Propane costs are not covered by the park. Laundry facilities are available in the park for hosts to use for free. Most cell phone companies have service in the area, though some are not as strong as others.
