If you own your own period clothing and would like to be a dancer at the 1773 ball, Gateway Arch National Park would love for you to join as a volunteer! The ball will also include food demonstrations, a live band, and an announcer calling out the dance moves. If you do not own period clothing, you are invited to attend the ball as a spectator. For those who would like to learn more about living history or would like to volunteer at this event in period clothing, please contact the Living History lead Rachel Kincy at rachel_kincy@nps.gov. Gateway Arch National Park also hosts a commemoration of the Battle of St. Louis each May, so your outfit could be used once again at a future event.
