The Community School of the Arts Foundation is seeking a skilled and innovative AI Automation Engineer volunteer to join our team! This role is crucial for enhancing our digital outreach and operational efficiency, especially as we work to expand our educational resources and impact. If you are passionate about using technology to support arts education and are experienced in automation and artificial intelligence, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:- Develop, test, and implement automation scripts to streamline administrative and operational tasks.
- Integrate AI solutions to optimize our data management, communications, and donor outreach processes.
- Collaborate with other volunteers and staff to identify automation opportunities within our current workflows.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of AI-driven tools for educational support, including recommendations and content personalization.
- Document procedures and provide training to staff for ongoing tool use and maintenance.
- Experience in AI and machine learning, with a focus on automation (Python, R, or similar languages preferred).
- Familiarity with workflow automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Integromat, or Microsoft Power Automate).
- Ability to design, deploy, and manage AI-based solutions for non-technical teams.
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and data analysis tools is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

The Community School of the Arts Foundation was created in 2003 with the belief that an appreciation and fuller understanding of architecture enrich lives and improve in human experience. Our primary purpose is to provide arts education including, drama, creative arts, and dance classes at no cost to K-12, and participants identified with moderate to severe disabilities attending Public Schools.
