About Us:
Carmel's Depression & Anxiety Wellness Foundation is dedicated to providing resources, support, and guidance to individuals dealing with depression and anxiety. To broaden our impact, we are seeking a volunteer who is passionate about mental health and skilled in both grant writing and fundraising to support our mission.

Role Description:
We are looking for a Grant Writer & Fundraising Coordinator to lead efforts in researching and applying for grants, as well as developing and implementing fundraising initiatives. Your work will be essential in helping us secure the funding needed to expand our programs and reach those in need.

Responsibilities:

  • Research, write, and submit grant proposals and letters of intent
  • Identify potential grant opportunities and maintain a calendar of deadlines
  • Develop and coordinate fundraising campaigns and donor outreach initiatives
  • Assist in creating and executing strategies to engage new and existing donors
  • Track grant application statuses and maintain organized records of all submissions
  • Collaborate with program staff to align fundraising goals with program needs

Qualifications:

  • Experience in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit development
  • Excellent written communication and research skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Creative approach to donor engagement and fundraising strategies
  • Passionate about mental health advocacy and community support
