We’re looking for passionate Frontend / Web Developers to help build and refine nenos, including the development and deployment of a new custom website. If you’re experienced in frontend web engineering and interested in leveraging technology to make a positive impact, this role offers a unique opportunity to be part of something meaningful. Volunteers will be among the first members of our engineering team, working directly with our founders to bring nenos to life.

  • Collaborate on design and development of a new custom website for nenos using modern web development practices

  • Help develop a custom website, integrating a CMS for blog posts and a few user-fillable forms

  • Implement components and functionality using frameworks like Node.js, Vue, and/or React

  • Use HTML, CSS, and Git to develop responsive, accessible, and intuitive web interfaces

Qualifications:

  • Experience with one or more web frontend frameworks: Node.js, Vue, and/or React

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Git version control

  • A good eye for design and the ability to create user-friendly interfaces

  • Interest in digital literacy, online safety, and fostering community engagement

  • Familiarity with Netlify, GitHub Actions, and CMS tools is a plus
