About Us:
The award-winning Piedmont East Bay Children’s Choir has offered exceptional music and choral training to over 10,000 children throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, with a concentration in the East Bay. PEBCC fosters artistic growth, community connection, and musical excellence in young singers ages 5-18, inspiring creativity and cultural awareness through high-quality music education and performance opportunities.

Position Summary:
PEBCC is seeking a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Volunteer to support our online presence. This role involves creating and managing content for our social media channels, working on collaborations, and building engagement through posts and stories. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about social media, marketing, and the arts who wants to make an impact in their community!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation & Posting : Develop and schedule engaging posts, stories, and reels using Later.com for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, etc.)

  • Collaborations : Coordinate with collaborators to create content that highlights partnerships and community involvement in PEBCC programs. Connect to amplify PEBCC’s online presence and engage new audiences.

  • Stories & Reels : Create compelling and dynamic stories and reels that highlight choir events, behind-the-scenes moments, and student achievements.

  • Content Calendar : Assist in planning and maintaining a social media content calendar that aligns with upcoming events, performances, and promotional needs.

Qualifications :

  • Experience with Later.com and social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and a strong understanding of each platform’s best practices.

  • Strong writing and communication skills, with a knack for creating engaging, brand-aligned content.

  • Experience with Canva or other graphic design tools is a plus.

  • Passion for the arts, music, and PEBCC’s mission of music education.

  • Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to take initiative and bring creative ideas to the table within PEBCC guidelines and youth policies.
