As a Project Management Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the team by setting and maintaining realistic timelines to keep projects on track. You’ll apply a range of project management skills and tools to help ensure smooth progress and successful outcomes.
You will be part of a dynamic team focused on developing and delivering workshops aimed at fostering understanding and empathy across social divides. These workshops are designed to strengthen communities by building trust, encouraging collaboration, and promoting a healthier, more inclusive society.
The ideal Project Management Associate will have strong time management and organisational skills, ensuring that project timelines are created, tracked, and adhered to. They should be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining clear communication with team members. Familiarity with tools such as spreadsheets, timelines, Gantt charts, and Kanban boards is important, along with knowledge of Google Workspace applications.
In NGA’s volunteer-dependent projects, strong interpersonal skills are essential. The role requires empathy, the ability to motivate and engage volunteers, and a collaborative approach to working with diverse team members. Flexibility, patience, and clear communication will help ensure that the project stays on track, even when challenges arise.

NGA became a UK registered charity (1190473) in July 2020.
We are an volunteer led organisation with over 40 volunteers and a wide range of projects geared toward building connection and relationship across all the many differences in the Newington Green area of London.
