Use your data entry and research skills to help animals from home!
We are looking for volunteers to help our Humane Society International staff maintain a well-organized spreadsheet of information. This database will be used to inform various aspects of our work, including tracking trends in the hunting of threatened species, and the trade of captive lions. Responsibilities include identifying relevant information and entering data in a spreadsheet from various documents, such as trophy hunting permit applications, issued permits, and captive lion permits, licenses and applications.
HSI/Africa works on ending all forms of cruelty towards wild animals, such as advocating for/against policies related to wildlife welfare and conservation and promoting coexistence between wild animals and humans.
This is a great opportunity to further your skills in research, data entry, and data organization, to work within a dynamic international team, and to contribute efforts to improve wildlife conservation and welfare.
Benefits of volunteering
Volunteers will learn about the welfare and conservation of wild animals and become familiar with aspects of international wildlife trade permitting while supporting our mission.
