Mission Statement
Interim Hospice focuses on quality of life when quantity of life is limited. Hospice provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients who have a terminal diagnosis and their families.
Description
Interim Healthcare Hospice is looking for volunteers! Volunteers work directly with patients and their caregivers (visiting, reading, bringing pets or music, providing respite for caregivers, running errands, helping with bereavement support) or in the office (helping with mailings, administrative and computer work, and making cards). The hospice staff team (nurse case manager, social worker, chaplain, volunteer coordinator, and bereavement coordinator) provides thorough training and ongoing support for volunteers. Interim Healthcare Hospice provides care to patients wherever they call home, whether that is a private residence or an assisted living or skilled nursing facility.
