Trail Crew

Join our indoor introductory class to learn more about how you can help improve Peninsula trails! Learn about trail building and maintenance from a nationally-recognized trail expert. Following this course, join us 2nd Saturdays for in the field training and experience. We will focus on various techniques for erosion repair, building rock walls, proper pruning and more! No experience needed for the introductory course. Ages 18 and over.

The mission of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) is to "preserve land and restore habitat for the education and enjoyment of all."

Description

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Land Conservancy (PVPLC) manages over 1600 acres of open space on the Palos Verdes Peninsula, and two nature centers with native plant demonstration gardens. The PVPLC engages volunteers in the development and maintenance of native plant gardens in order to demonstrate how gardening with native plants is beneficial for the environment.
