· The Bulltown Historical Area is now recruiting volunteers for the 2025 season (April-October, 2025)! This area occupies the site of a Civil War Battle and features an interpretive center/museum, 10 historic structures, remnants of war-era fortifications and trenches, and a section of the historic Weston and Gauley Turnpike.
Volunteers are requested to staff the historical area museum, conduct tours and interpretive programming on the grounds, assist with artefact research, and complete minor area maintenance (cleaning, leaf blowing, weed eating, watering plants etc). Training will be provided.
In exchange for 24 hours per week of service, volunteers will be provided a free full-hookup site for their rv/camper in the Volunteer Village. They will also receive a volunteer pass for day use areas. Take advantage and enjoy your summer surrounded by nature!
