About the Role:

Santos Creations Educational Foundation (SCEF) is seeking dedicated Video Production Volunteers to support the production and marketing of video content for NESA-Africa 2024 and other SCEF projects, including EduAid Africa, Education Online Africa, and e-Library Nigeria. As a volunteer, you will work remotely and collaborate with the video production and social media teams to create engaging video content that will be used to promote educational initiatives and events across Africa.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful projects, gain valuable video production and marketing experience, and build your portfolio while working with a global non-profit organization.

Key Responsibilities:

·

Video Production for NESA-Africa 2024:

·

o Assist in creating promotional videos for the 16 award categories, including:

§ Announcement videos for nominations, voting, and sponsorship.

§ Pre-event and post-event promotional content.

o Help create engaging video content to promote the awards and educational initiatives.

·

Social Media and Marketing Support:

·

o Collaborate with the social media team to produce video content that drives engagement on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

o Assist in editing short promotional videos to be shared across social media and other digital platforms.

·

Content Creation for SCEF Projects:

·

o Contribute to video content creation for projects such as EduAid Africa, Education Online Africa, and e-Library Nigeria.

o Assist in creating educational and promotional video content aligned with SCEF’s mission.

·

Pre- and Post-Production Support:

·

o Assist in editing and organizing video footage to ensure a high-quality final product.

o Work on motion graphics and visual effects to enhance videos (as needed).

·

Collaboration and Reporting:

·

o Collaborate with the social media manager, marketing team, and other volunteers on assigned tasks.

o Track and report progress weekly to the social media manager or video production lead.

Qualifications and Skills:

·

Technical Skills:

·

o Basic experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, After Effects).

o Familiarity with video shooting techniques, sound editing, and lighting (preferred but not required).

·

Creativity and Marketing Skills:

·

o A passion for creating compelling video content and storytelling through media.

o Strong interest in learning how to align video production with marketing and social media strategies.

·

Soft Skills:

·

o Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a remote team setting.

o Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of meeting deadlines.

o Eagerness to learn and improve technical skills in video production.
