Qualifications

Seeking two Event Coordinator Volunteers to assist with a Large nonprofit Conference, hosted by We Speak Color Inc. (a faith-based workforce development nonprofit)

The ideal volunteers will be highly organized, goal-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fun and fast environment

Event Planning Coordination: Work closely with the Event Committee members to understand their event needs and preferences

Assists Committee to plan and execute event details, preparations, timelines, and activities to ensure all details are covered

Participant Engagement: Drive event engagement by reaching out to potential speakers or participants

May follow up on leads and inquiries

Event Execution: May assistant in event setup, breakdown, and operations, to help ensure that the event runs smoothly

Vendor Coordination: Assist coordination team to work with third-party vendors (e.g., catering, decorations, entertainment, sponsors) to ensure all aspects of the event are well-coordinated

Marketing Promotion: Partner with the marketing team to promote events and activities

Develop new ideas to increase event bookings and expand client base

Post-Event Follow-Up: Collect feedback from participants, conduct post-event evaluations, and use insights to improve future events
