accentCare have a combined 50+ years of hospice experience. Our commitment is to mentor a Spiritual Care Volunteer in many ways such as:
Assessing the patient and/or caregiver’s spiritual status
Companioning a patient/caregiver’s spiritual journey as s/he defines it
Expanding the Spiritual Care Volunteer’s understanding of bereavement, dying and death
Advanced educational opportunities and training
Providing the Spiritual Care Volunteer with a choice of personal spiritual self-assessment tools
Companioning the Spiritual Care Volunteer in personal spiritual practices
