About Mentor A Promise:
Mentor A Promise is a non-profit organization, and our mission is to provide socio-emotional learning, academic support, and mentorship to students in temporary housing and facing housing instability. We partner with family temporary housing sites across New York, educational institutions, and community organizations to create a strong support network for young people experiencing homelessness, helping them overcome challenges and forge their own path to success. Position Overview:
As an innovator, you will help us be an idea driven solutions organization that address the root cause of poverty facing our students and help us empower them for a better future for all.
Key Responsibilities:
· Help us create and build new products that improve the lives of our students
· Create effective technology that responds to the needs of our students
· Bring transformative ideas with the power to reshape the future
· Develop from data and lived experiences to launch
Position Requirements:
· Must be 18 years of age or older
· Must have a passion for our work
· Must be a team player
Desired Qualifications:
· Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for making a difference
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
