ORGANIZATION: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers

Skills and activities preferred will differ between available positions. Individual strengths can be matched with positions available.

Volunteers must be able to work in all weather conditions, hold a valid driver’s license, and be available holidays and weekends. All positions will report to the volunteer coordinator but may be supervised by other staff members as duties occur. Volunteer will be required to travel to Lake Office for monthly meetings (1/month).

Volunteers are required to provide their own licensed transportation with insurance and fuel for any duties they perform. The volunteer will be required to provide their own living quarters, RV must be presentable, registered, titled and road worthy. Must have general knowledge in computer applications. Some maintenance and customer service experience is preferred. Volunteer must possess the ability to work well with all kinds of people. They must be friendly and always represent professionalism in their duties. Must be able to effectively work with other volunteers, staff and contractors. Volunteers working 24 hours a week or more will be offered an RV site with full hookups (30/50 amp electric, water and sewer). We are looking for volunteers able to commit to at least 6 months.
