The Alliance for a Safe Oregon is on a mission to end gun related tragedies and build communities where all Oregonians feel safe and have opportunities to thrive. We believe that by listening, learning, and working together across different political beliefs, life experiences, backgrounds, and priorities is the fastest and most effective way to create the safer future we all want. We are seeking a Volunteer Social Media Specialist to help us enhance our online presence and reach more individuals to join the Alliance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategy for the Alliance to grow our social media audiences, primarily for Facebook/Instagram
- Help us develop a simple way to monitor social media metrics to understand engagement and reach.
- Stay informed about social media trends and best practices to enhance our strategy.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their audiences.
- Excellent written communication skills and a creative mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
