ORGANIZATION: Capital City Hospice
Please visit the new page to apply.
As one of the largest hospice providers in Central Ohio, Capital City Hospice provides support for thousands of families each year. The bereavement program includes:
- Regular mailings sent during the thirteen months following the death of their loved one.
- Memorial services held during the year.
- Phone calls to offer support.
- Bereavement support workshops.
Volunteers are an important part of the bereavement program by helping with monthly mailings and phone calls in our office, as well as planning and hosting the memorial services at various locations throughout the area.
Your helping hands can make a difference! Join our team of caring volunteers--attend an orientation (daytime and evening available each month), and schedule time that suits you to work on bereavement projects and upcoming workshops.
Call (614-441-9300) or email ( smanecke@capitalcityhospice.com) for more information or to register for an upcoming orientation. We look forward to meeting you!
