Join us on Sunday, November 10 to beautify the unique landscape of Joshua Tree National Park! Volunteers will work with park staff to remove litter from popular park picnic areas, trailheads, and campgrounds in the heart of the park.
Project will begin at 9 am and end at approximately 12 pm on Sunday, 11/10. Volunteers must provide their own transportation to and from work sites. Training and supervision will be provided by park staff. This project involves physical labor including hiking, lifting, and repeated bending. Volunteers must be able to safely lift 5 pounds repeatedly and must be able to safely hike 3 miles. Local recruitment only - must live within 1 hour of the park.
Participation is limited, volunteers must register for the project beforehand and will receive a confirmation email with location details. Help preserve and protect the park for ours and future generations to enjoy!
