Research has shown that listening to music can reduce anxiety, blood pressure, and pain as well as improve sleep quality, mood, mental alertness, and memory. CorsoCare Hospice is offering volunteer opportunities for compassionate, empathetic individuals who want to share the gift of music with our patients through playing an instrument, singing or playing recorded music. No musical experience or professional training needed.

CorsoCare provides all PPE necessary to ensure a safe and enriching experience on every visit. You will also be provided ongoing one-on-one staff support throughout your service with us and will be invited to education opportunities and appreciation events.

If you have any questions, or need further information, please contact Nikki Gerber, Volunteer Administrative Assistant, at (248) 260-8257 or nicole.gerber@corsocare.com.

"Music speaks what cannot be expressed; soothes the mind and gives it rest; heals the heart and makes it whole; flows from heaven to the soul." -K.C. Lynn
