Narrative for Volunteer Match:

Our Hospice patients need visitors! If you are compassionate, caring and kind, you could be exactly what our patients need! Sometimes it's just to give a listening ear to someone who is lonely and alone (life review). Other times you may be providing that essential short time off (respite) for the caregiver who needs to run errands or just have a few hours away. Volunteers give NO hands-on physical care; they are simply a presence, someone to fill an important need for our patient(s). We have patient's everywhere in the L.A. area and will assign you to a patient near you. We also pay mileage!
