One City Cafe at Bishop Sullivan Center is located in the heart of Midtown near 39th and Troost. One City Cafe fed a staggering 96,644 meals in 2024! We use 150 volunteers each week to make our cafe one of the most welcoming places in the KC. A brief information and training session is provided at the beginning (about 5 minutes) and then you are ready to SERVE! Join us!

Volunteers:

  • Prepare lunch sandwiches from 9:30-11:00 a.m. each day.
  • Serve lunch to our guests from 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
  • Welcome guests to dinner from 4:30-6:00 p.m.
