Join Classical Music Chicago’s Associate Board and play a key role in building CMC’s audience for accessible, live classical music programs in Chicago!
As an Associate Board Member, You Will:
·Be part of a dynamic team focused on expanding the reach of classical music to new and diverse audiences.
·Collaborate on exciting initiatives, from concerts to community engagement, to spread the joy of music.
·Connect with like-minded professionals and influential leaders in the arts and nonprofit sectors.
·Help ensure that the transformative power of classical music is available to people of all ages, backgrounds, and means.
What We’re Looking For:
·Enthusiastic and creative individuals who are eager to bring new ideas to the table
·Passion for classical music and the arts
·Strong networking skills
·Commitment to attending monthly meetings and key events
·Commitment to making an annual charitable contribution of $250 to support board initiatives

Description
For over 40 years, Classical Music Chicago has sought innovative ways to support emerging artists and bring fresh classical music experiences to life. CMC offers free classical music performances to the public through our flagship programs, the Dame Myra Hess Concerts and Rush Hour Concerts. We also bring music to students and underserved communities, where it serves as both an educational tool and a means of enhancing well-being. Our performers are primarily emerging artists from across the country and around the world.
