Are you passionate about mental health and wellness? Mindful-Well is seeking a Virtual Volunteer to help with administrative tasks and social media management. Your efforts will support programs aimed at promoting mental well-being and empowering underserved communities.

Tasks & Responsibilities

* Social Media Management:

* Create, schedule, and monitor posts on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn

* Engage with followers and respond to messages and comments

* Track and report on engagement metrics (e.g., likes, shares, reach)

* Administrative Support:

* Manage email correspondence and respond to inquiries

* Assist in event planning by coordinating with vendors and participants

* Maintain online documents and files using Google Drive

* Help organize virtual meetings, including taking notes and tracking follow-ups

* Collaborative Work:

* Work closely with the Mindful-Well leadership team to align tasks with strategic goals

* Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns, programs, or initiatives

Skills & Requirements

* Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)

* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

* Proficiency with tools like Canva, Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive), and Zoom

* Good written communication skills for drafting posts and emails

* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* Passion for mental health, wellness, or nonprofit work is a plus!

Commitment & Benefits

* Hours: 3-5 hours per week, flexible schedule

* Duration: 12 months (with the possibility to extend)

The mission of Mindful Well CDC is to educate, connect with, and compassionately treat high-risk, vulnerable group in the community such as new parents and first responders, in the Greater Philadelphia area, who are struggling with trauma and other mental health challenges.

Description

Our vision is to positively impact the community by providing accessible mental health services to vulnerable populations. We aim to increase awareness and advocacy through education, train future clinicians, and empower those struggling with accessing mental health treatment through expert, empathetic care.
We provide access to mental health assessments and culturally-responsive treatment. We assist with community referrals and mental health care, while also offering opportunities for peer support and connection to decrease isolation. Our competitive advantage, as an organization led by African-American women, is the ability to uniquely understand and meet the needs of diverse communities.
