As a volunteer at Banner Desert and Banner Children Medical Center, you’ll get to be part of the team that is privileged to care for the most amazing people on earth. From reading books to patients and their siblings to helping out with administrative work, to being the first face someone will see, you’ll provide crucial support to our patients, families and staff.
How you can help
We offer volunteer opportunities where you can put your skills and passions to work while contributing to our critical mission. We are currently recruiting for volunteers for:

- Admitting
- Courtesy Shuttles
- Dietary
- Dog Therapy
- Emergency Department
- Guest Service
- Gift Shop
- Information Desks

The first time you interact with a hospital patient and or their family members and loved ones you will understand your important role in the healing process. According to research and knowing from our own experience, patients have a greater confidence in their recovery when they know they are surrounded by caring people. Our volunteers come from all walks of life. The diversity of our community is represented in our volunteers, ranging from students, adults, retired individuals and those who work part-time and full-time jobs. Our goal is to find a match for your interests with opportunities at our hospital.
