Pine Flat Dam & Lake offers an excellent opportunity to stay in a beautiful location while assisting Park Rangers steward public lands. Volunteers are an essential part of the Pine Flat team, providing support through routine maintenance of recreation, campground, and wildlife areas. Volunteers may also be asked to provide information to visitors, provide natural resource project assistance, litter/ash/debris removal, landscaping, painting, etc. Volunteer schedules are flexible, allowing volunteers to explore Pine Flat Lake and other local areas including Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia National Parks. Volunteer service terms are not to exceed 6 months and must be a minimum of 3 months. Exceptions can be made at the discretion of the Volunteer Coordinator and Project Management.
