Access Equestrian is seeking a diverse population of kind and caring volunteers to assist in our programs who have an interest in working with horses. Help is needed in our adaptive riding program for school aged children and adults with developmental disabilities.
Our fall lesson program operates Tuesday through Sunday, throughout the day beginning September 1st. LGBTQ and BIPOC volunteers are encouraged to apply and support our diverse community.
We are currently looking for program volunteers for immediate placement in our afterschool fall program, two-hours once per week minimum. Volunteer times to be determined upon placement and availability.
Volunteer duties vary according to each particular schedule, but include everything from barn care and horse handling, leading and side walking in lessons, as well as assisting adults and children with disabilities. The efforts of our incredible volunteers make our programs possible. All volunteers will receive orientation training before joining our program. Additional training may be required upon placement and experience.
Please note: This volunteer opportunity is for immediate placement in our fall program.
